Eusebio Solis Brevard County FL Death:- Cocoa High School Athletic Director Eusebio Solis has passed away. He was a friend to so many and would do anything for anybody and just an amazing all around person. Eusebio Solis was announced dead through social media publications. He died unexpectedly, according to reports. No cause of death has been reported.
Cocoa Jr/Sr High Principal Denise Stewart notified the parents of their students with an email. Part of the email read, “The Cocoa High School family sadly announces the death of our beloved Athletic Director Coach Solis.
“He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and students. As adults, we are all aware of the substantial impact which follows the death of a loved one or friend.”
About Eusebio Solis
Solis, a 46-year-old originally from Madrid, Spain, moved to Hampton, Virginia, as a youth. He graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2004 after playing college baseball at Ferrum College.
Co-founder of Club321 Baseball, he helped open The Dingers Training Center in Rockledge and was recently appointed athletic director at Cocoa, where he implemented a QR code for donations through Brevard Public Schools.
With seven years as athletic director at Space Coast, Solis has been a varsity baseball coach for nine years, achieving significant success by leading the Space Coast Viper Baseball program to three District Championship games, including their first-ever title.
After taking over a struggling Cocoa baseball program that had only two wins in three years, he guided them to five wins in his first season. He also promoted athletics during the Barbecue Bowl broadcast.
